Aahan Foundation for Social Change is Section 25 companies incorporated under Ministry of Corporate Affairs in the year 2013. According to the 2011 Census of India, approximately 8.6% (~104 Million) of Indian population is classified as Scheduled Tribes (STs). While Indian population is increasing, data indicates that the population of STs is fast decreasing and some of the Primitive Tribal Groups are now extinct. Indicators of Human Development like Multidimensional Poverty Index, Maternal Mortality Rate, Under 5 Mortality Rate, malnutrition, literacy rate etc. is worst in the tribal regions.

Our Strategic Framework:

Our Vision

To empower tribal girls and women who are at risk of gender based violence such as trafficking, child marriage and are surviving under the dark shadows of poverty and human slavery by providing entrepreneurial skills and enabling community development.

To dismantle the machinery of trafficking by making at risk girls and women financially independent, self reliant and  aware about their rights and privileges by providing life skills, entrepreneurial skills, mentoring and creating engagements using arts, performing arts and sports.
